Is my financial data safe?

Free plan: Your data is encrypted and stored only in your browser—we literally cannot see it. Pro plan: Data is encrypted on your device before being sent to the cloud (end-to-end encryption). We store encrypted data only—we cannot read it. Since we're open-source, you can verify this on GitHub.

Does the free version collect my data?

No. The free version stores everything in your browser using encrypted local storage (IndexedDB). We literally cannot see your data—it never reaches our servers. No signup, no tracking, no analytics. You can verify this in our open-source code.

How is this different from Excel spreadsheets?

Unlike Excel, Achievv automatically calculates XIRR (actual returns), tracks asset allocation, handles FIFO cost basis, supports multiple currencies, and provides real-time insights. No formulas to maintain, no manual updates needed.

Do I need to self-host this?

No! You can use our cloud version at achievv.com instantly. Self-hosting is optional for advanced users who want complete control. Both versions are fully functional.

What brokers and platforms are supported?

You can import CSV/Excel files from any broker (Zerodha, Groww, Upstox, ICICI, HDFC, etc.). We support standard transaction formats. You can also add transactions manually for any asset.

Is the free version limited?

The free version has full features but is browser-only (single device) with manual CSV imports and one portfolio. You need Pro (₹299/year) if you want: cloud sync across devices, automatic broker integration, unlimited portfolios, or family tracking (unlimited members).

How is Achievv different from competitors?
